When was the last time you were able to visit the Aragon Highschool campus? Measure M back around 2011 allowed quite a few revitalization projects to be completed on the campus.  On a recent visit to San Mateo I had to go by the Aragon Campus and see what it looked like.  Wow! It looks so much nicer than it did when we attend Aragon.  There is a new classroom wing and a new Theater building.  There have been improvements to student services, centralized air conditioning and a renovated stadium with a new turf field, an all weather track, new bleachers with a press box and bathrooms.  Amazing!!

As part of the reunion activities we are trying to organize a tour of the Aragon campus.  It will be so nice to get a look of all the changes.  Maybe save a little extra time when you come to the reunion to enjoy some of the extra activities we are planning.   I know there is still a year to go before the reunion but there is still lots of things to get ready for all of you.  I can't wait to see you!

 Good afternoon,

The Reunion Committee is earnestly searching for all of our classmates, not just those that crossed the stage 49 years ago. Many graduated early, and some late. We are over 400 in number.

We are down to the following, that we could use some help in finding.

  • Marian Barker
  • Debbie Chavis
  • Paula DeYoung
  • James Hill
  • Collette Miller
  • George Moore
  • Theresa Morrison
  • Renee Pederson
  • Judy Pratali
  • Kenneth Charles Roberts
  • Richard Sanchez
  • Carla Waite
  • Tosia Foreman

Working together to plan this reunion has been a great experience. It has opened new friendships and deepened old ones. I just wish we didn't have to wait another year to all be together!

If you have leads on any of these people, you can always send a note, or respond the the committee email:

Thank you,  Martha

Good morning from the East coast, classmates!

This is Martha Hazen Henry, and I have been honored to be a part of the reunion committee. Some of us are working diligently to find our nearly 400 classmates including those that graduated early and late.

Soon, we will be sending out US mail to those that we do not have a working email. We will also be publishing a list of around 30 classmates that we cannot locate. And also, a list of those that have passed away.

50 years has been literally a life time. All of us have stories and experiences to share. When the committee recently met in San Mateo, I felt a kindred spirit. Time evaporated and shared experiences came into focus.

I urge each of you to reach out through this blog, the FB page, the email, or better yet, endeavor to attend the reunion next year.

All my best to each of you - I am eagerly awaiting to hear your stories!

Martha
